I believe you, trust me. I understand how frustrating that might be but--please don't get too upset if anyone else brings it up. They have good reason to be cautious, and it truly isn't anything personal. Ashikawa especially can be harsh, but he's a smart boy! He'll figure out that everyone isn't out to get him, eventually, and maybe he'll even be a bit more comfortable after being told this. (. . .unlikely, but worth a shot.)
