More often, what you 'should be' doing is something that will improve your life or the life of others. There are exceptions and areas of grey, but most things do.
Ashikawa is a child, literally. Children are meant to be treated differently, because they are still learning. And it is the responsibility of those in charge to teach children and sometimes that requires punishment.
I am not unfair. I gave him warning. Plenty of warning, but he wouldn't listen. If anything, he thought I'd do worst and yet he still did as he pleased. That is not safe behavior. And if he would do that to gods, he could do the same with humans, who may do far worse things than I would.
And for everyone else, I have been more than fair and reasonable in what they ask of me.
