Appearance: A slim young woman with dark skin, dark hair and a playful glint to her eye. At any time she’ll have beads or colorful thread woven through her hair, and elaborate makeup decorating her face--it’s always changing as she finds new inspiration.

Characteristics: Whimsical, teasing, flirtatious, friendly, temperamental, artistic.

Likes: Whimsy, a lack of defined form, passion, creativity, dedication to one’s art, art in its many forms, appreciation for art, balance, dichotomy, fire and all things related, heat, promiscuity, following desires, embracing--rather than being ashamed of--those desires, popcorn, her sister.

Dislikes: Rigid order, a lack of appreciation for artwork, rules that stifle creativity and individuality, a lack of creativity, things that are cold, abstinence, stifling one’s own desires, not liking popcorn, her sister.

Shrine: A black flame, large enough that it could fill a small fireplace. It floats several inches from the floor and has no apparent source. Close inspection reveals different colors flicker within it--reds, purples, blues--with no particular pattern or meaning.

Ritual: Immolation.

To get her attention, you have to place something in the flame to be burned--anything that isn’t part of your own body is free game and will burn, regardless of whether it’s actually flammable. (The only exception is, of course, water. You could melt ice, but it will just turn into water, and then she’ll be very cross with you.) So a leaf, a bullet, a bug, a lock of your best friend’s hair that you cut off while they were sleeping--doesn’t matter.

Approaching the altar, pulling out a piece of vine that he had nicked earlier and dropping it into the flames.

Now to step back and watch it burn. Just to see if this'll work.]

[once again, he lights his cigarette in the fire and offers the ashes ... and then sets a small carved bit of wood in front of the altar as well. there's an image of a v-shaped creature in the top, with neat Japanese characters wrapping all around the cylindrical piece of wood. the characters tell the story of a man infected with a mushi that made his dreams literally come true. including nightmares.]

[A sharkling examines your shrine a couple of ways before gathering up his shoulder blade length hair and slicing it to neck length with a knife.

The locks get tossed into the flames.]

[There is an ex-god and a half elf pacing up to the shrine with a springy, amused stride. If it were not for their posture, or teasing comments back and forth, making you question how old either of them were ACTUALLY. The fact that they are literally covered in a psychedelic array of paint, in squiggles and lines and hearts and fans and anything they could think to draw on each other.]
