Appearance: A very pale, slender caucasian male who stands just taller than whoever calls him. His hair is a warm cinnamon, gently tousled, and inky smooth to the touch, and it falls in long layers, framing his face, stopping in a crop near his chin with several very long pieces coming from the back of his neck and falling to his rear. The longer ponytail of hair turns into feathers at the end, and when angered, his hair hackles and seems to break into feathers rather than strands. There’s a discreet illumination to his eyelashes and to the thinner portions of his skin in darkness and dim light that looks almost shingled the way pieces lay together. He’s usually in a uniform, the jacket a floor hugging double-breasted military style, lapels lined with feathers that graze along his chin. One hand is often covered with a large black leather glove, a single white owl perched on top of it. Characteristics: Distant, cautious, concerned, moody, reclusive, aloof, vengeful, distrustful. Likes: Characters who are able to break free from their emotional or physical chains and express or do exactly what they mean, grudges, feathered jewelry, bravery, protectiveness, attention, frequent visitors, those who sing, astrophysics, wings, those who have scars or something interesting with their eyes. Those who keep their promises. Dislikes: Wastefulness, betrayal, storms (especially lightning), injuries pertaining to eyes, nature gods (but not nature in general), insanity, things out of place.

Shrine: This god will make an appearance if you know his name and need his presence, or sometimes if you interact with the birds loitering around the area. For now, there is no shrine here. Ritual: You must call his name or interact with the birds to gain his attention.

Re: Day 108, Night
I can certainly create those. Do you have an idea what you want it to look like?
You might want something portable.
Re: Day 108, Night
[ Pause. ]
I'd prefer power over portability.
[ Because the shit out there isn't as squishy and prone to dying as she is. :| ]
Re: Day 108, Night
You haven't had experience before with them?
[ Creating an illusion of this between his fingers, with red instead of blue. ]
Will that work? You're aware these exchanges are equal. It takes a moderate amount of energy to produce one calibrated well enough to hunt. Is there anything else you need?
Re: Day 108, Night
That's fine. I'll need arrows, too. And -
[ Frowns, thinking. She's sure there was something else... ]
- a wall!
[ Aw yeah, finally going to get Sigma fixed! ]
Re: Day 108, Night
That's quite a list.
I could take an two acts of release.... [his head tilts to the side]
...or one act of release, a small bit of blood or energy, and a promise to be careful.
Re: Day 108, Night
I don't make promises I can't or won't keep.
[ A moment of silence as she works the wording out in her head, she's being very careful right now. But then - ]
Wait.
Why?
Re: Day 108, Night
Why?
Re: Day 108, Night
Re: Day 108, Night
. . . . .
[ turning away now, sigh~ ]
You could choose something else if you wanted.
Re: Day 108, Night
Answer me.
Re: Day 108, Night
I don't answer to you, Jane Shepard.
Which option works better for you. Both items are the same energy to create.
Re: Day 108, Night
It happens suddenly, the tense silence after his words interrupted by an almighty bang and the sound of wood splintering and falling to the ground from the impact of the hit...
and then more silence. ]
Re: Day 108, Night
... Do you feel better?
Re: Day 108, Night
This might take a while. :| ]
Re: Day 108, Night
Re: Day 108, Night
I'm - done...
Re: Day 108, Night
One down.
[ His chin rotates lower so he's turned more toward her voice. He takes the illusion that's been sitting there all this time and it grows a little larger until slowly, bit by bit, he runs a hand over each piece of the compound longbow and then snaps it once and sets it to the side against the floating chair. ]
... Now?
Re: Day 108, Night
[ Grits her teeth, cradling her bleeding knuckle in her other hand which hasn't fared too much better from that, either. But she's not going to say anything about it. ]
- make a promise - like that.
Re: Day 108, Night
How can you protect others if you die?
Re: Day 108, Night
You'd be surprised.
Re: Day 108, Night
Then that is something I have yet to learn.
I'll repair the wall as soon as you finish your second act then.
[ standing, he steps closer slowly and holds a quiver out, it's just as tech looking as her armor used to be, and he's got it in the hand by the strap, it's full of arrows. ]
Try to be careful anyway. You'll upset Nemo.
Re: Day 108, Night
... I'll promise to try if you answer my question from before.
Re: Day 108, Night
How about a different question?
