Albinia Science, Responsibility, Ice | ❧ Played by Sair |
 |
Appearance: As a human, she’s a grown woman, with pale skin, long light colored hair, and light blue eyes. She will never smile and either has a distant look or disapproving look most of the time.
Characteristics: Stern, serious, cold, reserved, scientific, socially awkward, rational.
Likes: Order, rules, responsibility, self-control, logic, science (Of all kinds, except mad scientist science.), scientific method, ice, frozen goods, ice sculptures (the one form of art she really enjoys), her sister, and she shares a joy of balance, dichotomy, and most importantly, popcorn with her sister.
Dislikes: Chaos, rule breaking, lack of control, irresponsibility, idiocy, mad scientist art, spicy food, hot drinks, most other forms of art, most things Kalidas likes, people who do not like popcorn, her sister, people messing with her sister. |
 |
Shrine: An ice sculpture of a circular archway. The ice never melts and it’s cold to the touch, though people won’t ever get stuck to it. (Unless they lick it, in which case, they’ll be stuck there for an hour at least.)
Ritual: To summon her, the person needs to put their hand on the statue and list off some science type fact. (It does not necessarily need to be correct, just be something sciencey.)

NOTE: For those who are approved to be assistants or guinea pigs, you basically get a unit pay. Assistants (teacher): 3 Units per class. Assistants (experiments): 7 Units per experiment session Guinea Pigs: 10 Units per time you’re being tested on
NOTE 2: If there’s a high chance your character will be dickish to her/does terribly irresponsible things that hurt other people on a regular basis/is one of those guys who murders people, it would probably be better to actually thread that out because Albinia is finicky. |

Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Our experiments will be here too, when we start them. [And she's looking through drawers and such now.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[Pulling out a few bottles.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
It's fine. It's just so hot all the time, the difference is more noticable. Easier to concentrate.
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Though her place is always hot.
[And coming over, looking over the injury closer with it elevated.[
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
You guys hang out together a lot, huh?
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[Puts her foot in a small pan thing. She is surprisingly gentle despite how stiff and cold she can be.]
This will sting a b-
...no, it will sting a lot.
[And for holes, just pouring the disinfectant is easier. Pan is for catching excess liquid.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[But she will, oddly, pat Maya's head at the end.]
It's okay, the worse is done now.
[...gentler than her usual tone, but she's always gonna sound just a bit cold.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[and she does stay remarkably still, considering; she closes her eyes and folds her hands in her lap, seemingly able to focus better through this than the disinfectant.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[But oddly...she doesn't use the normal stitching material. Not any kind of real then or even a metal needle. Instead, it's a flexible string of ice with a needle.]
[As she continues, where the stitches have been set a bit, the skin starts to go numb with the cold. And probably with the same magic that keeps the room covered in ice being a bearable temperature, so is the numbing cold affect of the stitches. It's enough to cause the numbing, but not be painful as would be usual with applying ice on skin directly without some container.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Whoa, that's pretty cool.
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
This way the injury will be numb, thus it will be less painful, infection won't occur, and you get these wounds closed. The ice will melt when the wound is healed adequately.
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[And the ice needle will vanish with the last of the stitches.]
Now I just need to clean these and wrap them for extra safety. [Getting those bandages wet. Will then freeze the liquid and just get all of that water and blood off.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
I'll be careful.
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
And please don't deliberately put it by fire and extreme heat, that will just be bothersome to compensate for.
[And once it's all water free and dry, will wrap up your leg again.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
That should be easy enough. No one really lets me cook, and Ashikawa's mainly got ice magic. I'll try to stay extra cold.
[Once it's done, she'll try standing again? taking care, since the numbness and all]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Just don't make yourself uncomfortable cold. I'm prepared for the normal outside temperature.
[Will help her get up.] Try not to walk on that leg much as well. [But will help her to the portal out.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[and right as she's about to step out, she turns back and gives Albinia a quick but warm hug]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
[Just...goes rigid.]
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
Ah--sorry. But still thanks. I really owe you.
Re: day 28, pretty early (yeaaah timespace)
You should head back and rest now.
[And there is just...a lot of formal coldness.]
