Appearance: As a human, she’s a grown woman, with pale skin, long light colored hair, and light blue eyes. She will never smile and either has a distant look or disapproving look most of the time. Characteristics: Stern, serious, cold, reserved, scientific, socially awkward, rational. Likes: Order, rules, responsibility, self-control, logic, science (Of all kinds, except mad scientist science.), scientific method, ice, frozen goods, ice sculptures (the one form of art she really enjoys), her sister, and she shares a joy of balance, dichotomy, and most importantly, popcorn with her sister. Dislikes: Chaos, rule breaking, lack of control, irresponsibility, idiocy, mad scientist art, spicy food, hot drinks, most other forms of art, most things Kalidas likes, people who do not like popcorn, her sister, people messing with her sister.
Shrine: An ice sculpture of a circular archway. The ice never melts and it’s cold to the touch, though people won’t ever get stuck to it. (Unless they lick it, in which case, they’ll be stuck there for an hour at least.) Ritual: To summon her, the person needs to put their hand on the statue and list off some science type fact. (It does not necessarily need to be correct, just be something sciencey.)

Ice is a preserver. If frozen right, things can be left in their pristine condition. More than that, by the time humans could properly control ice, it would only be when they have a proper understanding on how to manipulate the world around them at length. It means people can understand scientific functions well enough and it allows them to preserve many things they want to preserve for study.

And it's important to be a responsible person if you're doing science. Science is meant to make life better for all, essentially taking responsibility for the world at large.

...and between responsibility and ice, snow is better for keeping the water table up so there isn't a terrible drought in the middle of summer.

Not water. Dellen is water, I am ice. But snow is ice and will become water, giving aid and support that water may need in the future.

Very much like science as well. Many experiments are done to help life in the future.

But yours is the first where they everything ties to making things better for everyone. Even ice. I guess that's the responsibility goddess for you.

Well, of course not everything is good. Ice can kill or damage things. Science has made weapons, which while making some things better, will end other lives. And if people can't realize they need a break, they can ignore more vital responsibilities to their own health for the trivial kind.

[And looking over at Kalidas' shrine.] ...that's why my sister and I stay together. Everything has a dark side. You need balance to keep it more even. Keep things...under control.

We're aware. It's a part of the point.

Nothing is more annoying than to have your sibling say 'I told you so' after having to snap you out of some sort of psychosis because you went off the deep end. Since we're on different ends of the spectrum, we can keep each other in the middle.
