Albinia Science, Responsibility, Ice | ❧ Played by Sair |
 |
Appearance: As a human, she’s a grown woman, with pale skin, long light colored hair, and light blue eyes. She will never smile and either has a distant look or disapproving look most of the time.
Characteristics: Stern, serious, cold, reserved, scientific, socially awkward, rational.
Likes: Order, rules, responsibility, self-control, logic, science (Of all kinds, except mad scientist science.), scientific method, ice, frozen goods, ice sculptures (the one form of art she really enjoys), her sister, and she shares a joy of balance, dichotomy, and most importantly, popcorn with her sister.
Dislikes: Chaos, rule breaking, lack of control, irresponsibility, idiocy, mad scientist art, spicy food, hot drinks, most other forms of art, most things Kalidas likes, people who do not like popcorn, her sister, people messing with her sister. |
 |
Shrine: An ice sculpture of a circular archway. The ice never melts and it’s cold to the touch, though people won’t ever get stuck to it. (Unless they lick it, in which case, they’ll be stuck there for an hour at least.)
Ritual: To summon her, the person needs to put their hand on the statue and list off some science type fact. (It does not necessarily need to be correct, just be something sciencey.)

NOTE: For those who are approved to be assistants or guinea pigs, you basically get a unit pay. Assistants (teacher): 3 Units per class. Assistants (experiments): 7 Units per experiment session Guinea Pigs: 10 Units per time you’re being tested on
NOTE 2: If there’s a high chance your character will be dickish to her/does terribly irresponsible things that hurt other people on a regular basis/is one of those guys who murders people, it would probably be better to actually thread that out because Albinia is finicky. |

Day 42, Night
In a closed circuit made of thin wire, the electro-magnetic force generated is proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic flux.
[Ssssshh. He only has old science to spout]
Re: Day 42, Night
[Appears.] Hello.
Re: Day 42, Night
Hey. Albinia, is it?
I actually had more of a question than a request. Do you have a few minutes to spare?
Re: Day 42, Night
I am.
Yes. What's the question?
Re: Day 42, Night
I know that the gods and goddesses take them as offerings, but what do you do with the raw materials exactly? Is there any way to get them back?
Re: Day 42, Night
It depends on the god. Myself, I use all the raw materials for experiments. See what they can be used for. The others have different things they'd use them for, but you'd need to ask them for the specifics.
...the same for getting them back. Some would probably still have seeds, but I can't guarantee that.
Re: Day 42, Night
[Hmmmmm]
I have some dried flowers I harvested from a while ago. I don't know if the seeds are intact or not, but- seeing as you're the science expert, I was wondering if you could extract them. Or even recreate a living flower from them.
I'll pay for the cost, of course.
Re: Day 42, Night
I might. I have altered Nature before, so I may be able to...
[There is thoughtful pondering.] I may have sample of the Kaleidoscope Blossoms, though none of the black and white ones.
Day 42, Night
Re: Day 42, Night
I'll see what I can do.
Re: Day 42, Night
[Exit stage left. He'll be back in a few minutes and place two dried black and white flowers on her shrine]
Re: Day 42, Night
Re: Day 42, Night
That'd be great, yeah. Is there anything I can do to help?
Re: Day 42, Night
[Pausing, thiiiiinking.]
See if you can find any samples of Kaleidoscope Blossoms, Purples, the Flower Spice Bushes, or the-actually, no, that one can stay dead. The cons outweigh the pros.
Re: Day 42, Night
[Pause]
What can stay dead? Just curious.
Re: Day 42, Night
Re: Day 42, Night
[Raising a hand in a bit of a salute]
I'll get the rest of the samples to you as soon as I can. Hopefully, there are still some lying around.
Re: Day 42, Night
Re: Day 42, Night
... But if it is successful, do you think I could take one of the kaleidoscopic blossoms home with me? [Smiles] I'm rather fond of them.
Re: Day 42, Night
It would depend on if you would risk it. It could do damage to the ecosystem of another place.
But either way, I have no 'possession' over what happens to the plant.
Re: Day 42, Night
Fair enough. Wouldn't want some of the other plants here to travel to other places, yeah. That'd be a disaster.
Re: Day 42, Night
[Besides, it's not like it's IMpossible. Just...not...very possible. ._.]
There is also the question if it'd survive. Different nutrients and the like.
