Re: Day 66, Early Evening
[Reaches out to take the hand.]
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
The shiki takes flight in the new area, gliding high in the open sky.]
Come. We will not be disturbed here.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Where are we?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
[tugs his hand a little and starts walking towards the wisteria and the couch there]
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
It's beautiful. Do the other gods have domains like this?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
The wisteria tree reminds him of the sakura tree, which is a sobering thought. His expression turns more pensive as they approach.]
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
I wonder if there were places like this back in my world.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
[Sounding calm, but there's an off note in his tone. "Was"...]
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
[curious, but "was" is not completely indicative all things considered, so xe will let him come around to it if he wants]
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
There was a fight in my world - for the fate of it. To protect the people who lived there in the present, or to grant the world's wish and... cleanse it.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
... You were one of the ones fighting in it?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Yes.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
[he touches his chest, a phantom pain there]
When I woke I thought Thusia might have been my world, if a lot of time had passed.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
There was nothing left I wanted from that world.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
Because your friend wasn't there?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
I had no reason to protect anything. My part in the fights was over.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
What was your part in the fights?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
I was supposed to fight to save humanity.
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
And it was over?
Re: Day 66, Early Evening
That was what I was supposed to do... but I stopped caring about Earth's fate a long time ago.
[Though, even that isn't exactly correct. There were other things he had devoted himself to.]
