Ur'ghaste Moisture, Societal Abnormality, Growth through Stagnation | ❧ Played by Harukami |
 |
Appearance: From about mid-torso up, Ur'ghaste is an androgyne who, unlike Tare, highlights strong sexual characteristics of both sexes to an overt level; sie has heavy, round breasts and a hairy chest, a fine growth of armpit hair, and, facially, a delicate and expressively beautiful face (finely defined mouth, arched eyebrows, large, wet-looking, soft green-brown eyes) with a ragged and magnificent moustache, the hairs of which are actually tendrils that move independently. Hir hair is long and braided into individual strands, but looks wet all the time, dripping down hir back. From below mid-torso, Ur'ghaste's human body unwinds into a mass of wet, fleshy tentacles, each of which have thousands of suckers on them. When Ur'ghaste speaks, it's hoarse and thickly wet, like sie has a throat full of phlegm sie hasn't managed to quite cough up, and sie breathes quite heavily (also wetly).
Characteristics: Making people uncomfortable :)
Likes: "Gross" things, making other people discomfited, getting sweaty, people rejected from their society's norm, being surprised, strong smells, pushing past your own comfort zones (or other people's), coolness and wetness. Also cool facial hair.
Dislikes: True stagnation, boredom, politeness and courtesy, strong societal rules, obedience and dutifulness without examination of the rules (OK if it's something you want to do, but doing it for the sake of it sucks), living an unexamined life, refusing to get your hands dirty. |
 |
Shrine: A large chunk of wood gone to decay and oozing a fine layer of slime, smelling strongly of musk and wood-rot.
Ritual: Interacting with it at all will get hir attention and sie may show up... but if you want to summon hir for sure, you have to lick it. |
 |
❧ Will Take | ❧ Will Give |
- animal or plant parts which have gone to rot
- poison sacs of lizagons
- acts (done in hir name) to push either the requester out of their comfort zone or for the requester to push someone else out of their comfort zone)
- trimmings of facial hair used to shape your beard or moustache into an awesome shape
- or trimmings from pubes likewise done to make it in an interesting shape.
|
- lubrication (personal or machine oil)
- sauces for foods<
- removal of mold (and similar) from rooms (or adding them to rooms if you want to spite an enemy)
- waterbeds (note: Waterbeds will get tacky after 3 weeks of use. As in, the surface of them will start to feel sticky. After four weeks, they will burst and send gross old water everywhere. So these are a temporary measure. Or for the adventurous at heart)
- slow-cookers and stew pots
- oil lamps
- paints
- acid
- ointments
- antibiotics
- shaving products
- food or drink made through fermentation, moulds, yeast, fungi, etc (alcohol, pickles, natto, miso, salami, pepperoni, sourdough, yogurt, mushrooms, blue cheese, chocolate, etc)

The task isn't "solve this problem between your two friends". That you can do as you see fit. The task is to ask for advice on how to handle it when two friends fight each other over something you did.
The task is a hypothetical. Do it first or later as you see fit.

When you looked up my directory, did you see what I was the god of, or only what I offered?

You say you've never walked a path? Muscles that aren't used will atrophy. Even if there's no path you can see, you have to keep walking to stay strong, to grow stronger. You can't sit and stay in one place forever.
That's a metaphor.
