Selyir Shadows, Security, Servitude | ❧ Played by Ten |
 |
Appearance: Selyir makes it a point to always be lurking in shadows, or standing right behind people, so most people never get the chance to see the god. The only identifiable feature anyone can ever make out, aside from the presence of shadows, is the voice; a deep, mature, and fluid male voice, reminiscent of a man well into his 60s.
Characteristics: Professional, organized, protective, subservient, gentlemanly, private, teasing, prideful.
Likes: Dedication, orderliness, organization, tasks completed in the background/shadows, efficiency, granting feelings of security/safeness, assisting others, complying with orders.
Dislikes: Messes, wasted energy, idleness, lack of protection, feelings of unease due to a lack of safety, selfishness, uncompleted tasks. |
 |
Shrine: A single tassled black rope of fine quality hanging from the ceiling to waist-level in the shadow of Eizon's shrine.
Ritual: Pull the rope to earn a brief 'gong' noise and Selyir's attention. |

... I've no problems with not telling anyone. It's not as though I'm out for recognition. But I don't think there's a secret in the world I can keep from Sherlock. Either of them.

The skills of priests under me lay in making use of the shadows, so my particular skill set's strength is not in direct combat, but stealth and observation.
no subject
... with the stealth and observation coming in handy for that devotion part?

I'll do it. If - you tell me how.

I will also inform you of some precautionary warnings before you give your final agreement to taking the interview; I expect you to carefully think over whether you would like to interview or not.
Your main tasks as a Shade, one under my service, would be the protection and observation of the residents of this place. As I mentioned, direct combat is ill advised unless necessary and will rely more on your own skills than the skills I will provide you with.
As a Shade, you will be tasked with the gathering and monitoring of all publicly available information here, and thus I will be entrusting you to keep secrets well. Exceptions can be made for those whom you prioritize most, but compromised information will reflect poorly on you and may lead to the termination of your position working under me.
Is this information clear so far?

Exceptionally.

At the moment, that is all I will share. I encourage you to take some time to think over your willingness to this commitment, as well as any questions you may have over the position.

I will. Thank you.
