Appearance: Selyir makes it a point to always be lurking in shadows, or standing right behind people, so most people never get the chance to see the god. The only identifiable feature anyone can ever make out, aside from the presence of shadows, is the voice; a deep, mature, and fluid male voice, reminiscent of a man well into his 60s. Characteristics: Professional, organized, protective, subservient, gentlemanly, private, teasing, prideful. Likes: Dedication, orderliness, organization, tasks completed in the background/shadows, efficiency, granting feelings of security/safeness, assisting others, complying with orders. Dislikes: Messes, wasted energy, idleness, lack of protection, feelings of unease due to a lack of safety, selfishness, uncompleted tasks.
Shrine: A single tassled black rope of fine quality hanging from the ceiling to waist-level in the shadow of Eizon's shrine. Ritual: Pull the rope to earn a brief 'gong' noise and Selyir's attention.

There is a young man here who is very important to me, but who has himself no memories of the time I knew him. As things are now, I confuse him, and leave him uncomfortable. However, my recent departure from his residence into one of my own has further eroded his sense of security; as much as he is not sure what to do when I am close, he is even more troubled if I am away.

I know that it is within your abilities to create portals that join two areas. I would like to request this service of you, but the way in which those portals were first described to me has left me troubled.join places that are physically distant from each other. But the way in which they were described has left me with the puzzle of their nature, especially in light of my own sensitivities.

Is to pass through one such portal equivalent to passing through the darkness of this world?

To deconstruct the nature of my portals, yes, it is true you are passing through areas in which no light reaches. In order to accommodate those whom use the portals, however, I have taken care to keep the travel period instantaneous when passing through.

My time is already spent in service to another, though for his sake the depth of that loyalty has rarely been made apparent. I would rather go without your aid than change that or supersede it with attempted service to another.

What do you need from the wild?

I require a collection of animal hides, spleens, and kidneys. Five of each will be acceptable, though should you obtain more of one in compensation for less of another, I will accept that as well.
