Appearance: Female and human, roughly in her 40's and too thin. She has pale skin and hair, but the coloring is just a little inhuman. The main color to her is a pair of incredibly deep blue eyes. She wears loose, off-white, Grecian-style clothing that makes her look both paler and smaller than she is. Her hair is often in disarray, and her overall appearance often appears untended.
Despite looking small, underfed, and wafty, when Dellen isn't having an episode, she has a very commanding and warm presence. There is, at all times, a surprising 'weight' about her that marks her unmistakably as divine.

Characteristics: Nurturing, monogamous, lesbian, obsessive, demanding, needy, devoted, nonfatal self sacrifice, yandere.

Likes: Faithful loving monogamous relationships, being understanding of her, sacrifice for the betterment of others, expressions of love (even twisted ones).

Dislikes: Death (human only), poly/orgies/unfaithfulness, material selfishness, rejection, lack of understanding, talking badly about humans, nature.

Shrine: Pale sandstone slab at ground level, behind it is a stack of precarious sandstone making a narrow pillar. On top of the pillar is a large bowl (but with cracks instead of bubbles) filled with crystal clear water.

Ritual: Stand on the slab and place your (CLEAN) hands in the bowl to get her attention. Once the agreement is made, place your sacrifice on the slab and sprinkle some water from the bowl onto it.

Fair enough. I appreciate your time and patience thus far. I think I have learned enough for the time being for me to start making as much of a home as possible here.

One last question; would any of the gods here would be interested in serving as a final divine authority? I don't know anything about you or your peers except what I was told immediately upon arrival.

I don't doubt that some would be interested, but it would be folly to take them up on it, I think. It has happened in the past, but there is no balance in such a thing.

Sorry, I'm not sure I was clear.

I do not mean as a judge or lore-maker, I meant as someone who can read minds in cases where there are no witnesses. Part of the punishment of the guilty would be to make sacrifices to pay for the assistance of the god in question.

I see. Is that how law is settled in your world?

I would not, you will have to ask the others if they would.

No, not in my world. But it is an idea that's been forming in my mind - we have no system of governance here, and no authority figures. Having a god we could fall back on in the immediate future as a last resort in cases would be very hepful.

Do you have a suggetion as to who I should ask first?

I would suggest you ask the people here. Since they are the ones to accept this rule, they must be the ones to choose it.
